Detoxification is an important part of our healing process. It is the process of removing some of the toxins that our bodies are exposed to every day. One of the most important organs of detoxification is our liver. Here is a recipe that includes many vegetables that give us the nutrients needed to detoxify. You can have this salad as part of your diet on a regular basis or you can make part of your detoxification program.

3 cups mixed greens – arugula, spinach, romaine lettuce, watercress
¼ cup dandelion leaves (liver detox)
2 red radishes or daikon radish (liver detox)
1 beet, shredded (folate)
½ red onion, sliced
½ cup celery (folate)
¼ cup red cabbage
¼ cup kidney beans
Walnut pieces.
Dressing – extra virgin olive oil / lemon juice, garlic, raspberries, add all in a blender and whip up a fabulous tasting dressing.
You can also add hemp hearts.
