Eat Your Greens This April

April is in full swing already!

If you are smart, it’s Build Your Energy time!

We are coming out of the harsh winter season, for some of us, we are still recovering from being surrounded by snow for so long. 

During the winter months, people tend to hibernate … we eat comfort food and focus on warmth and shelter. 

Now … it’s time for spring cleaning!

Don’t just spring clean out your house or your garage, spring clean your body. 

This is a great time of year to detox, balance your hormones and get your body ready for an energy filled spring and summer.

There are so many great detox and cleansing options, it’s hard to know where to start. 

  • Should you try juicing? 
  • Fasting? 
  • Eating only greens or fruits? 
  • Do you need supplements or not? 
  • If so which supplements? 
  • Is you body getting enough micro-nutrients to be strong and healthy?

With so many options, some are great for others but might not be right for you.  No matter what you choose, you can never go wrong with adding more greens to your diet.  For example, a nice green salad for lunch or green juice or green smoothie throughout the day. Greens give you more minerals, keeps you alkaline and helps detoxify your gut.
