Dr. Alison Cockeril, ND

Dr. Alison Cockerill, ND graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto. Her experience with the ways in which religion relates to health, piqued her interest a holistic, natural approach to medicine. Dr. Cockerill went on to complete the 4 year post-graduate Doctor of Naturopathy at the accredited, Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). During this time, she completed 1,200 hours of supervised clinical experience at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. She also provided supervised clinical care to underserviced populations at the Queen West Community Health Centre, Toronto.

Dr. Cockerill believes that healing is a journey that we all experience in our own unique way. It is therefore, important to her, that each patient is treated in a holistic and personalized manner. The naturopathic approach combines evidence based medicine with individualized care and the consideration that every aspect of our lives (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) impacts our overall health and wellness.

Dr. Cockerill works with a wide variety of health concerns including but not limited to: digestive complaints, hormone imbalances, skin conditions, endocrine disorders, mental health concerns and weight management. During her time at CCNM Dr. Cockerill also became a mother. This gave rise to her passion for using her skills as a naturopathic doctor to address infertility, support preconception health and treat children of all ages. Dr. Cockerill believes in building a truly integrative healthcare system and she would be honoured to be part of your healthcare team!
