Our Professional Staff
Dr. Kelly Schoonderwoerd is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has been in active clinical practice since her graduation in 1995. After her graduation from CMCC, she completed Levels I, II and III of the RCCSS (Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences) programme, and obtained her Personal Trainer’s licence. She has worked as a trainer for both rowing and soccer teams, and has proudly volunteered as part of the medical team for sporting events such as karate, hockey, triathlons, Ontario Summer Games, Canada Summer Games.
Dr. Schoonderwoerd has been in solo practice in Ajax since 1996, and has just recently enthusiastically joined two clinical teams in multidisciplinary environments: the Centre for Healing and Personal Potential in Pickering, and the Miranda Naturopathic Clinic in Ajax. She also lives and is involved in her community of Ajax; she plays soccer, attends her local gym, and enjoys running, biking, hiking, rollerblading and cross country skiing along local trails and pathways. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kelly sits on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA), and is also part-time faculty member at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, tutoring courses such as Chiropractic Technique and Integrated Clinical Management, as well as functioning as an assessor for many of the Clinical Examinations administered throughout the programme.
Dr. Kelly regularly participates in Continuing Education courses at CMCC, and has just completed her Master’s degree in Health and Environment at University of Toronto.To Book a consultation with Dr. Kelly Click here
