If you’ve been feeling more tired lately — even when you feel like you’re doing everything “right”? Let me tell you that you’re not alone!
I have been helping women get hormonally and nutritionally balanced for 25 years. And, this is something I hear from a lot of my patients in their 40s, 50s, and early 60s in my practice.
“I’m sleeping, but I still wake up exhausted.”
“I just don’t have the same energy anymore.”
“I feel like I’m always running on empty.”
And usually, it’s not just one thing but a combination of nutrients and hormones that are off balance.
During midlife, your hormones naturally begin to shift. estrogen, progesterone and cortisol don’t stay as steady as they used to, and that can affect your sleep quality, stress tolerance, and how your body produces and uses energy.
We become more sensitive to stress. Things that used to feel manageable may now feel like they take more out of you than before.
So even if life hasn’t changed dramatically, your internal “battery” can feel like it drains faster.
You might notice things like:
- Afternoon energy crashes
- Feeling foggy, distracted and forgetful
- Needing more rest than before
- Feeling overwhelmed more easily
- Relying on caffeine just to get through the day
And then the worst thing we can do is just push harder — more coffee, more soldiering through the day — but still not feeling like yourself.
What I want you to know is this: this isn’t about lack of effort. It’s about your body asking for a different kind of support than it used to need.
Sometimes that starts with understanding what’s actually driving these changes — whether that’s hormones, stress, sleep, nutrition or all of the above.
From there, we can start to support your system in a more targeted and realistic way.
If this sounds familiar, you can contact us and book a free 10-minute Meet & Greet. We’ll simply talk about what you’re experiencing and explore what your next step could look like.
No pressure — just support and clarity. We are happy to help!
