Matrix Repatterning

What is Matrix Repatterning?

Matrix Repatterning is new. Matrix Repatterning is unlike any other treatment modality I have ever come across. Matrix Repatterning is safe, gentle, non-invasive and effective.

Matrix Repatterning is a break-through technique that identifies and then relieves the sources of tension (from injury, impact or repetitive strain) within the deeper core structures of the body.

Matrix Repatterning is a hands-on therapeutic approach aimed at resolving mechanical problems and restores functional ability to a high level.

Matrix Repatterning is a proven clinical treatment used to treat a wide range of conditions that have not responded well to conventional methods, such as: headaches, temporomandibular joint problems (TMJ), neck and upper back pain, low back pain, scoliosis, shoulder and arm pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, menstrual pain, postural imbalance, hip, knee, ankle, foot pain, fibromyalgia, pain associated with arthritis, and chronic pain.

How does Matrix Repatterning work?

Scientific research has revealed that the impact from many injuries, over a lifetime, is absorbed into the dense framework of the body, primarily the bones and fluid-filled internal organs. This tension causes the cells in these tissues to expand and become more rigid – this is called a Primary Restriction. These restrictions result in measurable electrical, mechanical and functional changes, which may lead to certain health conditions, such as those listed above.

The entire body can be envisioned as one continuous piece of fabric; we are interconnected from head to toe. All cells are held together by a strong, flexible material consisting of protein filaments (cytoskeleton and extracellular matrix). This is known as the Tensegrity Matrix. As a result, Primary Restrictions in one part of the body produce strain patterns, which can cause other parts of the body (such as muscles, ligaments and joints) to become strained and painful, even though they are not the source of the problem. In fact, your low back pain may really be the result of that time you slipped and fell, landing on your knee, months or even years ago!

What to expect from Matrix Repatterning:

People often ask how long it will take to feel better once they start receiving Matrix Repatterning. This is always difficult to answer as each case is unique. However, as a general rule, Matrix Repatterning can significantly restore function, and reduce pain within 8-12 treatments. For some people, it is necessary to extend treatment beyond 12 sessions. For most, however, there is usually an end in sight. Once treatment is completed, follow-up appointments are booked as needed. Many people experience lasting pain relief, and do not require ongoing monthly maintenance treatments.

In light of the fact that Matrix Repatterning is so gentle and non-invasive, all age groups can benefit from these treatments.

For patients new to Matrix Repatterning, the initial visit is booked for 1.5 hours. Follow-up visits, usually booked one week apart, are 45 minutes long.

A Brief History of Matrix Repatterning:

Dr. George Roth, DC, ND, fist developed Matrix Repatterning as a technique, in the early 1990's. Since then the technique has evolved into the complete assessment and treatment approach that can address a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, that it is today. Over the years, multiple case studies and x-ray evidence, presented to various medical institutions, have proven the effectiveness of this therapy. Matrix Repatterning is gentle, deeply relaxing and most importantly, therapeutic. If you've struggled with chronic pain and restriction, tried other forms of therapy and have not had success, Matrix Repatterning might be able to help you.
