The Best Tuna Salad Recipe


  • 2 5-ounce cans water-packed tuna fish, drained well
  • ¼ cup olive oil mayo
  • 1 scallion (green onion), chopped
  • 2 dill pickles, chopped
  • ½ tsp mustard (optional)
  • salt, black pepper to taste


  1. In a small bowl, break up the tuna with a fork.
  2. Add the scallion, pickles, mayo, mustard (if using) and mix to combine.
  3. Season to taste with salt and black pepper and serve.
